Yes we are talking about the experimentalist designer Kunihiko Morinaga, born in Tokyo, in 1980. Graduated from Waseda University and Vantan Design Academy. And in 2003, the brand "Anrealage" started. Do you wonder where the name comes from? This name is a combination of three words; "real, unreal, age". In 2005, won the Avant-Garde Grand Prix at Gen Art 2005, a contest for new young designers in New York. Here is a small part of the 2005-6 AW 2005 collection;

In 2006, showed the first collection at the center of Tokyo Tower. Here is a small part of the S/S 2006 collection;

and in 2009, tried something different and started installation on the clothes in the theme of "convex concave" to integrate symbols with clothes. This idea seems like a really big exploration in the design industry.

                           

Designer prefers to present the designs in different shapes for every collection both for exhibitions and fashion shows. And Anrealage's S/S 11 collection seems incredible with the usage of plastic inflatables to create huge shoulder straps or angel wings.

 

KM3D-WORLD'S FIRST 3D FASHION FILM!

This is huge! This is the first 3D fashion film that's ever been produced! In this film, artist and film maker Baillie Walsh, gives you the opportunity to experience all the dimensions of Kate Moss at once, the beauty of her face is frozen.



AnOther Magazine and director Baillie Walsh teamed up to create the world's first 3D fashion film featuring Kate Moss as a mythological goddess who shutters her self image through an explosion of hundreds of tiny crystals. The original full colour 3D work was presented as an immersive video art installation at the Haunch of Venison and you can see the other current and past exhibitions if you visit the official website: http://www.haunchofvenison.com/en/. Actually this is the second time Baillie Walsh and Kate Moss works together. Previously they worked to create a hologram for Alexander McQueen A/W 2006 fashion show. KM3D-1 is a collaboration that brings fashion, art and film together in this magnificent 3D film. It is done using Phantom cameras, which shot 1000 frames per second, specially built for the project to create a beautiful 3D effect in super-slow motion.

And ofcourse when you watch the film, you can see incredible crystals flying and sparkling everywhere.So guess what? The film is made in collaboration with Swarovski while the art installation is in association with with Beefeater 24. Film's creative director is Jerry Stafford and Jefferson Hack is the editor in chief AnOther Mag. So let's have a look at the scenes behind the film.

Second Gathering

As you all know, Tim Walker creates fairy tales in his photographs and he is most of the people's favourite photographer. His work is artful and we can say he is one of the most creative photographers of all times. And for those who don't know the other gathering of Tim Walker and model Karlie Kloss, here is a little information. In W magazine's October issue, there is an amazing shoot which is Tim Walker and Karlie Kloss' with an amazing styling done by Jacob K in colorful couture garments from the likes of Dior, Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier.

So they team up for the second time in Vogue UK's October issue. Again with an incredible styling done by fashion editor Kate Phelan with stunning garments from the likes of John Galliano, Alexander McQueen and Elie Saab. Make up by Val Garland and set design, props and costumes by Shona Heath. So let's have a look at this gorgeous photoshoot called Russian Dolls.

LIVING ART: Ruffled chiffon jacket with lace underlay and velvet belt are Elie Saab Couture, Paris. Harlequin gloves are Glovedup. Lurex and lace body stocking is Jessica Harris. Gold-foil and Swarovski-crystal tights are Bebaroque at Liberty and leather shoes are Marc by Marc Jacobs. 

Blue embroidered felt coat and leather gloves are both Dior Haute Couture. Embroidered body stocking is Bebaroque and leather ballet shoes are by Bloch.

LE COQ D'OR: Embroidered feather coat, embroidered tulle skirt are both  Alexander McQueen.

Asymmetric open-back evening dress, embroidered with silk fringes and crystals, is Atelier Versace, Milan. Silk blouse with ruffled tulle sleeves are Alexis Mabille Couture. Tights are Bloch. Hat and mask are done by props stylist.

Damier-check jacket with horn buttons and embroidered edging are Armani Prive. Silk tulle blouse is Ann-Sofie Back. Sequined trousers are Gultier Paris. Cellophane ruffs worn as necklace and used in hair are Fred Butler.

Jewelled minidress with feather fringing is Gaultier Paris, Paris. Bodysuit with cut-out detail is Ann-Sofie Back. Leather ballet shoes are Bloch. Feather headpiece is done by the hairstylist.

Long dress in stretch tulle, embroidered with crystals, lace motifs and ostrich feathers, is Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci, Paris. Cotton ballet shoes are Bloch.

Sequined silk tulle bolero jacket with gold-leaf embroidery is Chanel Haute Couture, Paris. Black cotton/lycra bodysuit, worn underneath, is Capezio. Black ruffs on wrists are Valentino Haute Couture, Paris.

Numéro's Afro

Beautiful French model Constance Jablonski is now in a seventies inspired shoot done by photographer Gred Kadel for Numero #117. We actually adored the styling of this photo shoot and the stylist is one of our favourite, Patti Wilson. We think she did an amazing job in this shoot with the helps of her assistant Jenelle Phillip. We actually wanted to give you much more details about the styling, the exact brands and the information about each part of the clothes but we couldn't reach, so, just enjoy it! You'll love it!

Neo Dia

 
We loved these structured designs of the Australian label Neo Dia, by Gavin Lowes and Becky Chua who are recent graduates of fashion at RMIT. Their designs have an expanded mesh cutting tecnique that gives woven fabrics stretch and creates slashed waves across the body. The lines are crisp and by the geometric stylings of Escher and exalted by delightful experimentations with expanded mesh, rhis Neo Dia collection is clean, modern and beautifully architectural.

Collection's photos are taken by photographer Phillip Papadis with model Rebecca H Scene. In this photoshoot, hair and make-up artist is Rikki Norman and stylist is Jelena Railic who did a great job in creating combinations with her own choices of clothes with these great designs of Neo Dia.

SAW in The Time of Naomi

 Interview's October issue has a very violent and dark photoshoot of Naomi Campbell photographed by Mert&Marcus. The male model Alex Kovas, shows off his body in a sacrificial way. We found the shoot interesting and the atmosphere a little SAW alike with Alex's bruises on his body and Naomi's elegant styling from the likes of Lanvin, Gucci, and Bottega Veneta by stylist Karl Temper.
